1JE's Author Study
1JE are currently learning about different authors. Our first author study is Eric Carle. We have listened to a variety of Eric Carle books and participated in a number of activities related to his books. We especially love "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and enjoyed making our own front covers using a similar art technique that Eric Carle uses to illustrate his books!
Master Chef 2ML
This term 2ML will be learning all about food. We will learn about the five food groups and use this knowledge to plan a healthy diet for a day. One day each week our classroom will be turned into a Master Chef kitchen where we will follow recipes to cook foods from each of the five food groups. At the end of the term we will be engaging in an exciting Master Chef cooking challenge. |
