On Friday 27th February, the 2009 Coomera State School Student Leaders were presented with their badges and certificates by The Hon Margaret Keech, State Member for Albert and Minister for Child Safety and Minister for Women. Mrs Keech also addressed the assembly and spoke about the importance of leadership and commended our students for their outstanding behaviour.

Lance Corporal Nathan Antonik from the CIB plain clothes division, Coomera State School’s adopt-a-cop.
Fire station officer Kalven Fagg, Coomera State School’s adopt-a-fireman and
Mrs Kerri Hurford, P & C President.
The ceremony was followed by a morning tea, provided by the P & C, for our Student leaders and their families.
Congratulations to all the Student Leaders. We are confident that you will continue to set a high standard and will be worthy role models and representatives of Coomera state School.
