2/3SC Investigates Math Puzzles

2/3SC are currently in the middle of a really fun maths investigation.  We have been exploring lots of different puzzles that use math concepts.  We have played with spinners, dice, puzzles and magic cups!  We have learnt about odd and even numbers, number patterns, finding the missing number and all of the operations.  We have also examined writing the rules and instructions for a game and creating a suitable scorecard!  Now that we have all of our background knowledge we have started planning our own maths puzzle for the 2/3 SC Maths Expo!  We can't wait to play our classmates games!
